At first glance, a bracelet is just something you wear. A leather band, a clasp, maybe a knot or a charm. But for us, it’s a lot more personal than that.
Vertig started with a question: what if accessories weren’t throwaway pieces? What if they actually meant something, because of how they were made, what they stood for, and how long they stuck around?
So we started small. A few handmade leather bracelets. Some paracord styles inspired by old marine ropework. Every design was about balancing form and function, something that looked good but could take a hit, handle wear, and still feel solid years later.
We didn’t launch with a hundred products or a marketing team. Just a clear idea: make bracelets that feel like yours from the first wear, and only get better from there.
Our materials do most of the talking. Full-grain leather is used in many of our bracelets because it naturally resists wear, forms a unique patina over time, and doesn’t need replacing often. That’s what you’ll find in our braided leather bracelets, wide leather cuffs, and other handmade leather styles.
For more rugged designs, like rope knot bracelets, anchor wraps, and marine-style pieces, we use military-grade paracord. It’s known for durability, holds up in daily wear, and doesn’t fray easily. These kinds of materials reduce the need for replacements, which also lowers the footprint of every bracelet.
Where possible, we use stainless steel components with a long life cycle. Some of these are made from recycled sources, especially our magnetic clasps, which are engineered for secure wear and longevity.
We don’t compromise on build quality because we want every piece, whether it’s a men's leather bracelet or a nautical-style wrap, to feel like it belongs in your collection for years.
The goal has never been volume. We operate in small runs to limit overproduction and keep our designs intentional.
We avoid trendy color rotations and fast launches. Instead, we stick with a timeless palette and core design shapes that reflect our style without needing constant updates. That mindset applies to our genuine leather bracelets and ocean-themed paracord styles.
Packaging is also kept efficient, designed to protect, built for gifting, and as recyclable as possible.
We see durability as a quiet form of sustainability. The fewer items you need to replace, the less you throw away. A well-made leather wrap bracelet or vintage-style cuff doesn’t just look better over time, but it also avoids becoming waste. That’s the impact we care about.
We’re continuing to evaluate our sourcing, improve our waste management during production, and explore ways to measure the environmental impact of each design. The data side is still in development, but it’s a priority we’re actively working on.
